What is ZeroTerminal?

It is a decentralized app allowing you to interact with Tezos blockchain data. For now it is aimed mostly for onchain art. This terminal eliminates any 3rd party between a user and the Tezos blockchain.

We got two versions available for you. One is deployed on the website, another you can download and open and run on your computer. The latter just allows you not to rely on our servers. Use Testnet-Mainnet selector to choose active network you want to work with.

What I can do with it?

You can mint/list/buy/search/burn/transfer any artwork you want to see being inscribed into Tezos blockchain. The block size (~20KB) is the only limit!

Why onchain art, if I can use any other platform to mint files larger than 20KB?

Strictly speaking nothing can abstain you from using other platforms, but from ideological and scientific standpoint most of the art you can see minted is just a link to IPFS data. You never own the data of your NFT, but a link. Let's say, when you burn an NFT the art continues to exist. And that is a problem, because you don't have any control over the data you deployed.

Zero Contract was made to revive the original idea of the Cypherpunk movement 'Your keys – your data'. Also 20KB limit revives here the principles of compressionism. Because the essence of the art is to say more meanwhile speaking less.
